The Forum for Regional Thinking and Israel in the Middle East research cluster at the Van Leer Jerusalem Institute provides the Israeli public with current, diverse, and in-depth scholarly analysis of the Middle East and the Palestinians, based on the view that Israel is essentially a Middle Eastern country.
